Andriana Ongoïba

Andriana Ongoïba is a counselor/advocate at the Sex Worker's Project at the Urban Justice Center. She previously worked as a Human Trafficking Specialist with the Anti-trafficking program at the New York Association for New Americans, which merged with the Sex Workers Project in 2008. She has her M.A. in Psychology from the New School and is currently a night school pre-med student at Columbia University. Andriana is also a certified ESL instructor and freelance interpreter and translator. She has developed a program for immigrant survivors of violence called Support in English that integrates group therapy with self-advocacy in English. She has also been involved in music performance and research and was a finalist for a Fulbright research scholarship in Mali, West Africa in Ethnomusicology in 2008.
